Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how SoBo Apps (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile applications. It applies to every application we publish, on iOS, Android, or any other platform, unless an individual app provides its own policy.

Information We Collect

Our applications do not directly collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information about you. All data you enter — such as cruise dates, alarm times, muster station notes, or game state — is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party.

Device Permissions

Our applications may request the following permissions on your device. You can revoke any of these in your device’s Settings at any time:

  • Alarms — to schedule a system alarm at the time you set.
  • Notifications — to deliver alarm and reminder alerts.

None of these permissions transmit data off your device.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (advertising)

Some of our applications display banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. We have configured AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only, which means:

  • Ads are not based on your past behavior, browsing history, or interests.
  • We do not use Apple’s IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers).
  • You will not see an “Allow tracking” prompt because no cross-app tracking takes place.
  • AdMob may receive minimal technical context required to serve and report on ads (approximate country-level location, language, generic device type, IP address) but does not link this to a persistent advertising identifier.

You can remove all advertising from any of our paid-tier apps via an in-app purchase. Google’s privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Apple App Store (in-app purchases)

Some of our iOS applications offer optional in-app purchases — for example, a one-time “Remove Ads” purchase. These transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID. Refunds, family sharing, and purchase restoration are managed by Apple. Children’s Privacy

Our applications are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we have configured Google AdMob to treat ads in our applications as not directed at children. If you believe we may have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.

Data Security

Because our applications do not transmit personal data, the information on your device is protected by your device’s own security (your device’s encryption, passcode, biometric lock, etc.). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our applications after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
